Hillsbrook Farm is located in beautiful Estill County, Kentucky. The farm has been in the family for six generations. Conveniently located 20 miles from I-75 and 40 miles from the horse capital of the world, Hillsbrook is the perfect location to raise beautiful, happy Arabian horses. Nathaniel Newton was first introduced to the Arabian breed in 1994 when he purchased his first horse. From this purchase a great interest in the Arabian breed was developed. Nathaniel had always aspired to be a veterinarian, but exposure to the involvement of breeding his first purebred sparked an interest in advanced equine reproductive techniques. He is currently in his final stages of his veterinary education at Auburn University in Alabama, scheduled to graduate in May of 2008. He has been accepted to one of the top hospitals in the world, Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Kentucky, to complete a post graduate internship in equine reproduction and field care medicine. His plans are to focus on advanced reproductive techniques, such as embryo and oocyte transfer, and work with older problematic broodmares to acheive everyone's goal...a healthy newborn foal. Please enjoy the following pages of Arabian horses and do not hesitate to contact us with any of your needs concerning our mare lease and embryo transfer programs. |
